Art Nouveau Coat by Museum Selection





Elegant lightly quilted cotton coat with a pattern recalling textiles designed by the Silver Studio. Formed in 1880 by Arthur Silver (1853–96), the studio was renowned for its Art Nouveau patterns for fabric, wallpaper, carpets and metalworks, and was commissioned by such companies as Liberty, Turnbull and Stockdale, Sanderson, and Warner and Sons Ltd.
